SparkleHub (“we”, “our”, “us”) is a professional cleaning services platform operating in Kenya. We connect customers with our trained cleaning teams to book house cleaning, deep cleaning, sofa & carpet cleaning, office cleaning, and related services. Our website is sparklehub.co.ke.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

• Account information: Your name, email address, and phone number when you register or sign in with Google.
• Google account data: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. We do not receive your Google password or access to other Google services.
• Booking information: Your address, preferred service, scheduled date and time, and any special instructions you provide when booking.
• Payment information: M-Pesa phone number or card details processed securely through Safaricom Daraja and Flutterwave. We do not store full card numbers.
• Usage data: Pages visited, browser type, device information, and IP address for security and analytics.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Create and manage your account.
• Process and confirm your cleaning service bookings.
• Dispatch our cleaning teams to your location.
• Process payments and send receipts.
• Send booking confirmations, reminders, and service updates via email or SMS.
• Respond to your enquiries and provide customer support.
• Improve our services and platform.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your Google account data for any purpose other than authenticating you on SparkleHub.

4. Google Sign-In

When you choose to sign in with Google, our application uses Google's OAuth 2.0 service. We only request access to your basic profile information (name, email, and profile picture) to create and identify your account. We do not access your Gmail, Google Drive, Calendar, or any other Google services. You can revoke SparkleHub's access to your Google account at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

5. Data Sharing

We share your information only as necessary:

• Our cleaning teams: Your name, address, and booking details are shared with the team assigned to your booking.
• Payment processors: Safaricom (M-Pesa) and Flutterwave receive payment details required to complete your transaction.
• Email/SMS providers: SendGrid and Africa's Talking receive your email/phone to deliver transactional messages.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by Kenyan law or a lawful court order.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and booking information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us at hello@sparklehub.co.ke. We will process deletion requests within 30 days, except where we are required by law to retain certain records.

7. Security

We protect your data using industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and secure token-based authentication. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel only.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion of your account and personal data.
• Withdraw consent at any time (this will not affect the lawfulness of prior processing).
